Glad you enjoyed the first part of the tour through my journal. Here’s part two.
Finally finished. I really enjoyed the random nature of this, with days all over the place and some days contributing more ideas and pieces than others. No rules – my favourite way of working.
It’s delightful, and has some really lovely details in it!
such beautiful work, the seashells are so cute 🙂
I like the use of seaglass
You are so creative. Does each page take you straight back to Cornwall? I really like the colour palette you have used.
Such a lovely way to remember your holiday and I love the way you have used the beach finds, mine languish in a box in my studio.
Oh my! How wonderful. Every bit of your Holiday Journal is an absolute treat for the eyes – every memory made magic!
Brilliant, and you were inspired in your ways of using found objects as an integral part. What a memento!
this is crammed Alex….I love it…
Wow, all beautiful. I particularly like the stitched slate – did you drill the holes yourself? Was it difficult to do?!
I’ve got a bow drill which I bought for my jewellery making and I used that with a standard 1mm drill bit. To my surrpise, it went through the slate incredibly easily, (although I’m used to drilling metal and that takes ages) which was brilliant!
